The Child Abuse Council is a private, non-profit agency that provides PREVENTION, EDUCATION and TREATMENT programs to help children and strengthen families in Hillsborough County. In 2007, the Council reached over 47,000 children and adults through its programs; and community supporters offered more than 4,000 volunteer hours.
